He further said, once 20% of the work here is completed, I have come here to lay the foundation stone and we will also inaugurate this plant at the same time next year. In this plant, milk will be processed with a capacity of 1.5 lakh liters per day and related products will be made, which will include mozzarella, ghee, khoya, cheese etc. Here high standard packaging will also be used in milk packaging, which will be of world class standard. The laying of the foundation stone of this plant will strengthen the rural economy.

Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said, we want to put money in the hands of the farmers of the village and from the farmers who have livestock, we will buy milk from them and invest it in this milk processing unit. Himachal Pradesh is the first state in the country which is giving MSP on milk. Here MSP of Rs 45 is being given on cow milk and Rs 55 on buffalo milk. With this, poor farmers will have the facility that if their milk is not being sold in the market, then the government will buy their milk through the Milk Federation. We are continuously moving towards fulfilling the dream of 'Atmanirbhar Himachal Pradesh' by 2027.
