Mumbai Mumbai. Daku Maharaj starring Nandamuri Balakrishna directed by blockbuster filmmaker Bobby Koli has set new standards at the box office. Daku Maharaj, which released as a Sankranthi special on January 12, received an overwhelming response and grossed over Rs 156 crore worldwide in just eight days, a major achievement in Balakrishna's career. This film with a star cast like Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, Urvashi Rautela and Chandni Choudhary has made a place in the hearts of audiences across the world. To celebrate this huge success, the team organized a grand event in Anantapur, which was attended by the cast, crew and thousands of fans. Balakrishna enthralled the audience with his rendition of “Gana Gana Andhra Telangana”, which became the highlight of the evening.

Speaking at the event, Balakrishna said, “Rayalaseema is not just a territory, it is the 'Royal' border. It has given a President to the country and six Chief Ministers to Andhra Pradesh. I thank Naga Vamsi garu for making so many films and helping countless people. Vijay Karthik Kannan's visuals have brought Daku Maharaj up to Hollywood standards.
