Dhanbad: Kamlesh Paswan, Minister of State for Rural Development in the Central Government, has given his sharp reaction to the Mainiyan Samman Scheme of the Jharkhand Government. He said in Dhanbad Parliament that the scheme is made for the benefit of the public, whereas the Jharkhand government is imposing restrictions in giving the benefit of Maiyan Samman. Kamlesh Paswan further said that in view of the elections, Mainiya Samman Yojana was implemented in Jharkhand and now the government's budget has gone awry. Various reasons are being given before paying honorarium to women. This scheme is also affecting the Panchayati Raj system.

Target to make three crore women millionaires: Paswan said that the Central Government has set a target of making three crore women millionaires across the country. For this, Lakhpati Didi scheme is being run. Under this, work is going on in all the states. This will benefit 15 crore people. Rural development is a challenge in the states of Assam, Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand. Work is being done for the all-round development of the villages of these states. Examples of this development are states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Better work was done to improve the living standards of the people here.
