'My son is not safe there…: Sanju Samson's father's emotional statement, makes serious allegations against KCA
Sanju Samson's father accuses KCA: Angered by Sanju Samson's non-selection in the Champions Trophy, Samson's father has fiercely targeted the Kerala Cricket Association (KCA). Father Vishwanath has accused the association of conspiring to end his son's cricket career. The allegation comes after Samson was not selected for the Champions Trophy 2025 despite performing brilliantly in most of the recent matches.
One of the reasons behind Sanju Samson not being selected for the Champions Trophy 2025 is his absence from the Vijay Hazare Trophy. KCA kept him away from the Vijay Hazare Trophy due to his absence in the Kerala camp. Due to which he could not be selected in the Champions Trophy. As a result, Sanju's disgruntled father leveled allegations against the Kerala Association.
Sanju Samson's father said, 'I had come to know six months ago that KCA was planning against my son. My child is not safe there. They blame Sanju for everything. People will believe his words. That's why I want my son to stop playing for Kerala.
KCA gave clarification
Regarding Sanju Samson's exclusion from the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Kerala Cricket Association officials said, 'Sanju was ignored because he was absent from the Kerala camp.' But Samsam's father claimed that he was given a chance to play for the trophy even though some other players did not attend the camp.
Serious allegations against KCA
Sanju's father Vishwanath Samson made serious allegations against KCA and said, 'KCA people are conspiring against my son. We have never spoken against the association before, but this time they have crossed all limits. Sanju was not the only player who did not attend the camp. There were other players also there. But they were allowed to play the trophy.
KCA President defended
Vishwanath Samson defended KCA President Jayesh George and Board Secretary Vinod S Kumar. He said, 'These allegations are not against the KCA president or the board secretary. But some junior officials are doing such dirty politics in sports. We are players. Sports business should not be done. My son should be given a fair chance to play. If there is any mistake then we should discuss it and resolve it.
Sanju can still play for Kerala
KCA President George has clarified that, 'Sanju can rejoin the Kerala team if he wants. Due to joining the Kerala camp, he could not be selected for the trophy. Sanju is currently playing against England in Kolkata. Don't want to say anything more in this matter. But if he does not attend the camp, he will be dropped from the team.
