Prime Minister Modi appeals to common people on Netaji's birth anniversary

Subhash Chandra Bose's birth anniversary: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called on people to remain united for a developed India and warned against forces trying to weaken the country and break its unity. Addressing the Parakram Diwas program organized in Cuttack to commemorate the 128th birth anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose, PM Modi said that the life of the iconic freedom fighter is a source of constant inspiration for the people.
He never got trapped in the comfort zone- PM
In his speech, PM Modi said that Netaji preferred to go out of his comfort zone and fight for the freedom of the country. The PM further said, he was never trapped within the comfort zone. Similarly, we all have to go out of our comfort zone to build a developed India. We have to make ourselves the best globally. We must choose excellence and focus on efficiency
Government is working on promoting heritage
The Prime Minister cited several decisions taken by Bose, such as naming islands in the Andamans, installing his statue at the India Gate and observing his birth anniversary as Parakram Diwas, to emphasize his work in promoting his legacy. Were taken on behalf of his government. He said that Bose was proud of India's heritage. He said that the rapid pace of development goes hand in hand with the progress of the people, strengthening of the armed forces and overall development. He said that in the last decade more than 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty, modern infrastructure is also being built and the strength of the armed forces has increased in an unprecedented manner. He said that India has emerged as a strong voice at the global level.

He said that people should take inspiration from Bose's life for the unity of India. He said, we have to be cautious of those who want to weaken the country and break its unity.
