Paneer Pulao is a delicious dish to try in dinner.

Rice – 1 cup
Cheese shredded – 1 cup
Green peas – 1/2 cup
Onion cut lengthwise – 1
Bay leaf – 1
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Green chilli finely chopped – 2
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Cloves – 2
Salt – as per taste
Oil – as per requirement
Ghee – as required

– First of all, take good quality rice and clean it and wash it with water. After this, soak the rice in water for half an hour.
While the rice is being soaked, add one teaspoon oil and one teaspoon ghee in a pressure cooker and keep it on the gas to heat on low flame.
– Ghee is used in pulao to enhance the taste. After oil and ghee are heated, add cloves and grated ginger into it.
– After this add cinnamon, bay leaves and fry all these ingredients for 1 minute. Now add green chillies and lengthwise chopped onion and fry.
Fry the onion until it becomes soft and turns golden brown. Put green peas and soaked rice in the cooker and fry for 1-2 minutes.
– Add salt as per taste and water as per requirement, mix it and close the lid of the cooker and keep the gas on.
– When the cooker whistles 3-4 times, turn off the gas and let the pressure of the cooker release automatically.
– Meanwhile, take the paneer, cut it into squares and fry them in a non-stick pan in a little oil until they become light golden. Take them out separately in a bowl.
When the pressure is completely released, open the lid of the cooker and add the fried paneer pieces and mix.
– Your Paneer Pulao is ready. Before serving it, garnish it with chopped green coriander leaves.
