World cricket is excitingly waiting for the 2025 edition of Champions Trophy. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will be hosting this mega event from 19 February. The PCB is rigorously making arrangements for the hosting of the event, whereas International Cricket Council (ICC) is also helping to make efforts to ensure the successful hosting of the event.

This tournament is going to take place within eight ODI teams. The eight teams include Pakistan, India, Australia, New Zealand, England, South Africa, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. All the teams are making preparations to win in the final, which is going to be held at March 9.

Meanwhile, all the fans are curious to know about the prize money that will be received by the winning team, along with the team winning the title of runner-up.

The ICC has not announced the prize money for the Champions Trophy 2025. In such a situation, the expectations for the award to be very high are good based on the event held in 2017. In 2017, the Champions Trophy winning team got Rs 14.11 crore. Apart from that, runner-up team India also received Rs. 7.05 crore as prize money.

Looking at the numbers from 2017, there is speculation that the ICC might increase the prize money for this year’s tournament. Fans , who are eagerly waiting for the official announcement from ICC regarding the prize money, are hoping that this year’s prize money will be much higher than the previous tournaments.
