Australia women's team announced for Ashes Test, this will happen in Melbourne Cricket Ground after 77 years

The Australian women's cricket team has announced the names of 13 players for the only day-night Ashes Test against England to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from January 30. The team includes Alyssa Healy, who is out of the T20 series against England due to a leg injury. He is expected to be fit for this match.

If Hilly is not fit, Tahlia McGrath will be seen captaining in her place. If Healy plays, she will play only as a batsman and Beth Mooney will handle the responsibility of wicketkeeping.

All-rounder Ashley Gardner is expected to recover from a calf strain before the Tests but is doubtful for the final T20 match in Adelaide. Heather Graham has been included in the team as cover. Apart from this, Georgia Wall has also been included in the team. Earlier, he had made his debut in ODI and T-20 International cricket against India.

This match will be the first day-night Test match to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, while this will be the first time a women's Test match will be played since 1948-49.
