Maharashtra: There has been a massive explosion in an ordinance factory in Bhandara district of Maharashtra. It is being told that about 5 employees are feared dead in this explosion. There are reports of other employees being seriously injured in this accident. This blast happened in the RK branch section of the factory.

This explosion took place in the RK branch section of the factory. 5 to 6 people have been injured in this accident. According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred at around 10 am on Friday morning. It is also feared that some people may be seriously injured. The blast was so powerful that large pieces of iron were scattered far and wide. An ambulance has also reached the spot and is busy helping the injured. The sound of the explosion was so loud that there was panic in the area and people started running here and there. A huge crowd has gathered at the spot.

Collector's statement came on the matter
Regarding this incident, Bhandara Collector Sanjay Kolte told the media that due to the blast, the roof of the factory has collapsed, which is being removed with the help of JCB. There were 12 people present at the spot at the time of the accident, out of which two were rescued. Fire department, police department, tehsildar and other necessary administrative officers are present at the spot. State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has been deployed to handle the situation.
14 employees were present in the factory
According to media reports, this blast took place between 10:30 and 10:45 on Friday (January 24) morning. At this time 14 employees were working in the factory. According to the information so far, five people are expected to die. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet. At the same time, four to five people have been taken out in seriously injured condition. Apart from the Ordnance Factory officials, fire brigade and police officers are also present at the spot and are engaged in rescue operations.
Rescue continues
As soon as the information was received, police teams reached the spot and started relief work. The injured are being taken to the hospital with the help of ambulance. People say that the sound of the explosion was so loud that there was panic in the area and people started running here and there. A huge crowd of local people gathered at the spot.
