Earlier today, we had reported about a legal dispute between Eros and Babies 2 producers 14 Reels Entertainment, that led to Madras High Court putting a stay order on Akhanda 2’s release. On Thursday night, a few hours before the film’s release in India, Akhanda 2 confirmed that the release of their film is postponed for now.
Taking to their official X page, the production banner posted, “With a heavy heart, we regret to inform you that Akhanda2 will not be releasing as scheduled due to unavoidable circumstances. This is a painful moment for us, and we truly understand the disappointment it brings to every fan and movie lover awaiting the film. We are working tirelessly to resolve the matter at the earliest. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.”
