Aurangabad Bench of Bombay High Court has approved to provide financial assistance of Rs 11 lakh to Sudhir Dalvi. The court took this decision after looking at his medical condition. Sudhir played the character of Sai Baba in famous actor Manoj Kumar’s film ‘Shirdi Ke Sai Baba’, which gave him special recognition.

Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan had submitted an application in the court to get permission to provide financial assistance to Sudhir. During the hearing, the institute’s lawyer told that the ad-hoc committee constituted by the High Court has decided to provide help to Sudhir. The court sought documents from the institute, including details of Sudhir’s financial condition and treatment. An explanation submitted by his wife stated that Sudhir was bedridden and required two caretakers and a physiotherapist to look after him.
