Upcoming Cars in December 2025 – Electric, petrol and facelift all
December 2025 has turned out to be a very exciting month for car lovers. New models, updated SUVs, and major facelifts are all the rage. The month began with the unveiling of Maruti Suzuki’s e-Vitara, giving the company a clear look at its upcoming electric SUV. And now, more car launches are on the way throughout the month.

Maruti Suzuki and Vitara
On December 2, Maruti Suzuki showcased its e-Vitara in India. This is a modern electric SUV that will be available in variants like Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Battery options will be 49 kWh and 61 kWh, which can provide a range of approximately 543 km.
The design of this SUV gives a premium look – features like LED lights, aero alloys, dual screens, ventilated seats and fixed glass roof are available. For safety, 7 airbags, 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS have also been provided. Its expected price can be between Rs 20 lakh – Rs 25 lakh.
Tata Harrier Petrol
Tata Harrier is now ready to be launched in a petrol version. It will be launched on December 9, 2025. It will be powered by the company’s new 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo-petrol engine, which produces 170 hp power and 280 Nm torque. There will be both manual and automatic options.

Its expected price could be around Rs 13-14 lakh. Features like panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, large touchscreen, 360-degree camera and ADAS will continue.
Tata Safari Petrol
Tata Safari Petrol will also be launched alongside the Harrier on December 9. It will use the same 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. The price could be around ₹15-16 lakh, making it a cheaper alternative to the diesel Safari.

The Safari will retain its 6-seater and 7-seater layout. Features like a sunroof, ventilated seats, and ADAS will also be available. It will compete with the XUV700, Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.
New-Gen Kia Seltos
The global unveiling of the new-gen Kia Seltos will take place on December 10. The new model will have a more stylish design with a Digital Tiger Face grille, flush door handles and a new interior layout.

The interior will get dual 12.3-inch screens and the ADAS has also been upgraded. Engine options will remain the same – 1.5 petrol, 1.5 turbo-petrol and 1.5 diesel. Gearbox options will include manual, iMT, CVT and automatic. Price is expected between Rs 11.30 lakh – Rs 20 lakh.
MG Hector Facelift
MG may also introduce a facelift for the Hector in December 2025. The new model will feature updated bumpers, a new grille, fresh alloy wheels, and skid plates. The interior will feature an upgraded 14-inch infotainment system. Ventilated rear seats may also be added. Engines remain unchanged, with a 1.5 turbo-petrol CVT and a 2.0 diesel manual.

Mini Convertible
MINI Convertible will also be launched in India in December. Its electric soft-top roof opens in just 18 seconds and can operate up to a speed of 30 kmph. The exterior has LED headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels and Union Jack LED tail lamps.

The interior has a 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen, ambient lighting, Harman Kardon speakers, wireless charging and comfortable seats. The engine is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol which gives 204 hp power. This car can be a perfect choice for driving lovers.
