More than 200 Indigo flights cancelled, passengers across the country angry; video viral
IndiGo Flight Cancellations: Anger and helplessness are increasing among passengers due to Indigo flight cancellations and huge delays across the country. Many passengers shared videos and posts on social media platform X and said that despite waiting for hours at the airport, they were not given any information. Many people claimed that there was no staff present at the help desk and boarding gate.
The surprising thing was that till some time before the passengers got the information about flight cancellation, “On Time” was being shown on the display board. Due to this, many families, office goers and elderly people got into trouble.
SHAME ON YOU @IndiGo6EOne of my biggest events of the year is in danger of getting canceled because of your absolute incompetence.
Since morning 10AM, we are here at the Pune airport. Our flight was first rescheduled from 1:05PM to 1:25PM, then 3:30PM, and now 6PM.

Airlines did not give any information to troubled passengers
A video is becoming quite viral, which was posted by a user named Arun. In this he told that many passengers are sitting in tension and no one is being given any update from the airline.
Several passengers said they were told the flight did not take off because “the captain did not come.” An elderly passenger clearly said, “There is no trust anymore.” Many people also complained that they were traveling for urgent work or treatment for sick relatives, but were stuck due to lack of information.

Nearly 200 flights canceled in a single day
As the video went viral, similar cases started coming to light from many airports in the country. Passengers from Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad also complained about chaos, lack of staff and wrong information. Some passengers also appealed to keep their anger calm and said that the staff is also working under pressure. After the situation worsened, DGCA has summoned IndiGo at 2 pm today.
It is being told that around 200 flights were canceled in a single day and many were delayed. More than 100 flights were canceled on Wednesday also. IndiGo says the problem escalated suddenly due to technical glitches, winter schedule, inclement weather, airspace congestion and the new crew rostering system, which was difficult to predict.
