Rituraj Gaikwad scored the first century of his career in Raipur, second fastest century against South Africa.

IND vs SA: Today the second match of the India and South Africa ODI series is being played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Batting first, Team India scored 257 runs after losing 3 wickets. This match has become very special for Ruturaj Gaikwad. Gaikwad batted brilliantly and scored the first century of his ODI International career. After a long time, he got a chance in this series and Gaikwad has not disappointed.

First century scored in ODI

Gaikwad, who came on the field after Jaiswal, played a strong innings. He took India’s innings forward by building a big partnership with Kohli. In this innings, he scored 105 runs in 83 balls with 2 sixes and 12 fours. Gaikwad completed his century in 77 balls, which is the second fastest century by an Indian against South Africa. With this century, Gaikwad has become the 7th player to score a century in ODI and T20.
