How will be the weather today and tomorrow: There is going to be a big change in the weather from today. A big drop in minimum temperature may be seen. According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance can knock from today i.e. 5th December. This will affect the weather in the hilly states. Due to its effect, there will be movement of clouds in the upper parts of Jammu and Kashmir and light to moderate rain and snowfall may occur. Some areas of Himachal Pradesh will also remain cloudy and there is a possibility of rain.

Cold wave situation is being created in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Skymet Weather estimates that due to active cyclonic circulation Ditvaha, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms over Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and light rain over Karnataka and Kerala.

How will the weather be in Delhi?

The minimum temperature in Delhi-NCR is very low. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature has reached close to 5 degrees, which is the lowest of this season. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 23 degrees. The western disturbance active in the mountains will also affect Delhi-NCR. Due to this, cold wave and cold will increase. There was light fog in the morning. AQI will remain in poor condition in the coming days. The sky will be clear and cool winds will blow during the day.

Know the weather condition of Haryana and Punjab

The temperature is falling due to cold wave in Haryana and Punjab. The temperature has fallen below 10 degrees in most of the districts of both the states. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature has reached below 5 degrees in Chandigarh, Patiala, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Bathinda, Narnaul and Karnal. Due to the cold wave, people are feeling the shivering cold. Now there is a possibility of dense fog in the morning and evening.

Rajasthan weather update

It is extremely cold in Rajasthan. The minimum temperature in Fatehpur dropped to 2.2 degrees Celsius. According to Jaipur Meteorological Centre, the minimum temperature in other districts is below 10 degrees. Minimum temperatures were recorded at 2.2 in Fatehpur, 3 in Shekhawati, 2.9 in Lunkaransar, 3.8 in Sikar, 4.0 in Nagaur, 4.7 in Churu, 4.8 in Dausa and 5 degrees Celsius in Alwar. There is a possibility of further decrease in temperature by next week. Now along with the cold wave there will also be fog.

What is the weather like in Jammu and Kashmir?

A new western disturbance is passing over Jammu and Kashmir. Due to its effect, many high altitude places including Jammu, Leh, Srinagar and Pathankot have become cloudy. The Meteorological Department estimates that rain and snowfall may start in the next 2 days. Minimum temperature has reached 3 degree Celsius in Qazikund. Due to already snowfall in Leh, Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Srinagar the temperature is in minus. Due to this new weather system, cold, fog and snowfall will increase in the coming days.

Snowfall alert issued in Himachal-Uttarakhand

The effect of the new weather system will last for the next 48 hours. Its partial impact will also be on Himachal Pradesh. Well, there is no rain alert, but snowfall can make the weather pleasant. IMD has said that the minimum temperature in many areas including Lahaul Spiti, Kukumseri, Tabo will remain below the freezing point. The weather is going to change in the hilly districts in the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of rain and snowfall here, due to which the temperature will drop rapidly.

Rain alert in Tamil Nadu

Cyclone Ditvah, which became active immediately after Cyclone Senyar, has wreaked havoc on South India. Life has been affected due to strong winds, storms and heavy rains for the last 3-4 days. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be dark clouds on 5th and 6th December also. There will be a possibility of lightning. During this period, strong winds will blow and there will be heavy rain in Chennai, Tiruvallur and other areas. However, the impact of the cyclone will reduce in the next 24 hours. Due to the impact of the storm, weather activities will also continue in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
