Election Commission changed the dates of special revision program, DM gave strict instructions

District Election Officer Shailesh Kumar informed that as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India and the Chief Electoral Officer, Uttar Pradesh, the dates of the ongoing special intensive revision program have been amended on the basis of qualifying date 01 January 2026. According to the revised schedule, the counting period is 11 December 2025, written publication of electoral rolls is 16 December 2025, claims and objections are from 16 December 2025 to 15 January 2026, while the notice stage, hearing, verification and disposal is scheduled till 07 February 2026.

The final publication of the finally revised electoral rolls will be done on 14 February 2026. DM directed all the officers that the work of collection of counting forms, digitization and mapping of unmapped voters through BLO app should be completed 100 percent by December 11, 2025, so that the revision work can be completed smoothly within the stipulated time frame.
