During Russian President Vladimir Putin’s two-day visit to India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented him a copy of Srimad Bhagavad Gita translated into Russian. Sharing its picture on social media platform X, he wrote, “Presented a copy of Gita in Russian language to President Putin. The teachings of Gita inspire millions of people around the world.”

Now BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has said regarding this that Bhagavad Gita is not only the heritage of India but of the entire world. He said that if President Putin reads it, his relationship with India and our people will deepen. She said that Srimad Bhagavad Gita is now being seen globally as a life guide and she hopes that Bhagavad Gita will be further expanded after being translated into Russian language.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s two-day visit to India proved to be very important for both the countries. In this bilateral talks, more than 25 important agreements have been signed in areas like defence, energy, trade and nuclear cooperation. At a joint press conference, PM Modi said, “In the last 25 years, our strategic partnership has touched new heights. Today we have agreed on a program of economic cooperation till 2030.” At the same time, Putin praised India’s economy and said that our partnership is not against anyone. Russia is ready to continue supplying oil without interruption. Prime Minister Modi also presented Srimad Bhagavad Gita translated into Russian language to President Putin.
