Railway Update: Nishatpura station will become the fourth in Bhopal, pressure on the city station will reduce.

Bhopal Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, is soon going to get the gift of another railway station. Nishatpura railway station is going to open for the general public in the new year i.e. January 2026. Indian Railways has made an official announcement for this. The construction work of this station has been completed. After the commencement of this station, the pressure of passengers at Bhopal Junction and Rani Kamalapati station will reduce.

Lakhs of passengers will get the facility

After the commissioning of Nishatpura railway station, lakhs of passengers living nearby including Karond, Bhanpur, Minal Residency, Housing Board, Lambakheda, Berasia Road will get relief. People living in these areas often had to face traffic to catch the train, now the traffic pressure on Hoshangabad Road including Old Bhopal will be reduced. The work of parking, ticketing system, passenger facilities and security arrangements in the station premises is almost completed.

These trains will get stoppage at Nishatpura

Earlier Nishatpura railway station was used for freight transportation and other commercial purposes. At present there are three railway stations in Bhopal, these include Bhopal Junction, Rani Kamlapati and Sant Hirdaram Nagar. According to the report, initially stoppages have been given to Malwa Express and Jabalpur-Veraval (Somnath Express).

After this, stoppages of some more trains will get the green signal. These include trains like Jaipur-Chennai Express, Ajmer-Hyderabad Express, Indore-Howrah, Indore-Rajendra Nagar, Vindhyachal, Rajyarani, Bhopal-Bina MEMU, Bilaspur Express, Jhansi-Itarsi Passenger.

Engine direction will not have to be changed

Nishatpura has been included in NSG-3 category for the use of railway station. Talking about the present, there are some trains whose stoppage is at Bhopal Junction and then they go towards Ujjain and Indore. Because of this the engine of the train has to be changed. Because of this, time is wasted, now you will get rid of it and you will not have to change the direction of the engine.
