Australian batsmen showed dominance
Australia’s innings had a slow start, but soon the team controlled the score. Travis Head scored 33 runs, but his innings ended at the hands of Joffra Archer. After this, Jake Weatherall completed his first Test fifty by scoring a brilliant 72 runs. Marnus Labuschagne also strengthened the team by scoring 65 runs.
Captain Steven Smith also scored 61 runs and Cameron Green contributed 45 runs. Wicketkeeper Alex Carey is 46, while Mitchell Neser is unbeaten on 15 runs.
