IndiGo Crisis: Opportunity in disaster, air fares broke all records, Patna-Mumbai ticket crossed 60 thousand

New Delhi. The Indian Aviation Sector is currently going through its worst phase. The operational crisis of the country’s largest airline Indigo has made air travel completely out of the reach of the common man. Hundreds of flights are being canceled due to technical and crew shortage, which has a direct impact on air fares. The situation is such that fares on domestic routes have now become costlier than tickets to London and Paris. While IndiGo is taking advantage of the disaster due to cancellation of flights, other airlines have increased the fares.

According to the latest data from various travel portals and booking websites, the routes where IndiGo had dominance are the most contested. Since IndiGo has more than 60% share of the domestic market, the entire system has collapsed as soon as it falters. Sources said that all IndiGo flights departing from Delhi Airport today on December 5 have been canceled till 11.59 pm.
