Demand to become the voice of tribals from Hemant Soren, representatives from all over the country met

Ranchi: On Friday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren welcomed the tribal representatives from different states of the country. On the occasion, the representatives called upon to unite and fight for their rights and move forward with strength. On this occasion, tribal representatives urged Mr. Soren to provide leadership to the ongoing tribal struggles across the country.

Jharkhand is the land of heroes

The Chief Minister said that the land of Jharkhand has always been a symbol of bravery, self-respect and struggle. The sacrifice and struggle of many brave women like Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda to Dishem Guru Shibu Soren has given a new direction to the tribal identity. He said that the tribal society has played an important role in the creation and preservation of human civilization and even today the need for unity and awareness is being felt in this society more than ever.

Study of tribal children abroad

Chief Minister Hemant Soren further said that the Jharkhand government is fully committed to protecting the culture, identity and rights of the tribal society. He said that the government is continuously working to advance the tribal society socially, intellectually and educationally. In this sequence, Jharkhand has today become the first state in the country, where students of tribal community are getting higher education abroad at government expense. Hemant Soren said, “A new light has awakened in the tribal society, we all will have to make joint efforts to make it brighter. The government is with you at every step and is ready to provide all possible support.” He further said that the tribal society is a worshiper of nature and environmental protection is an integral part of its lifestyle. Our ancestors have fought a long battle to protect this earth and soil, but in modern times, due to tampering with nature, disasters like floods, droughts and landslides have increased. Therefore, it is the collective responsibility of everyone to maintain balance with nature.

Unity among tribals is necessary

In the end, the Chief Minister said that today there is a need to empower the tribal society socially and economically in the entire country. We all have to together ensure that the weaker sections of the society are strengthened and move forward on the path of self-reliance. On this occasion, tribal representatives from different states of the country appreciated the steps taken by the Jharkhand government in the interest of the tribal society and assured cooperation with the state government.

Hemant Soren will roam across the country

On the occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren praised the hard work of the representatives over the years and said that he himself will play an active role in running a comprehensive public relations campaign in different parts of the country in the coming days to protect the existence and rights of the society. He said that we have to unite and fight in such a way that our problems do not remain just a voice, but can become a part of the agenda of national politics. We have to tell that we are not scattered people, but a national community, and we have to come out of the corner of history and reach the center of the future.

Tribal people came from many states including Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh

During the program organized, tribal representatives from different states of the country including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam, West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Manipur appreciated the efforts being made by the Jharkhand government for the empowerment of the tribal society. While assuring continuous cooperation with the state government, the representatives said that Jharkhand’s initiative has infused new energy among the tribal society across the country. On this occasion, all the delegates paid emotional tribute to Dishom Guru Shibu Soren by paying tribute to his sacrifice, struggle and contribution.
