Humayun Kabir will lay the foundation of Babri Masjid, big relief from Calcutta High Court
Suspended Trinamool Congress MLA Humayunkbir has got a big relief from the Calcutta High Court. Calcutta High Court on Friday refused to interfere in the construction case of Babri Masjid in Murshidabad. The court has left the responsibility of maintaining peace to the state government. After which the pressure on Bengal administration to maintain peace and law and order has increased. Humayun has expressed happiness over this decision of the court.
Expressed happiness over the court’s decision
Humayun Bir has announced to lay the foundation stone of Babri Masjid on 6th December. Humayun said " I had already said that I will lay the foundation. I am very happy with the decision of the High Court…. I congratulate the judge of the court. This is my constitutional right. Those who had gone to the High Court have received a befitting reply. TMC had expelled MLA Humayunkbir from the party on Thursday.
Targeted at Mamta government
The MLA was very aggressive after his expulsion from the party and he announced the formation of a new party while targeting Mamata Banerjee. According to PTI, he will form a new party by the end of the month and carry forward his proposed program. He warned the Mamata government that lakhs of people will participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony and if the administration tries to stop them, they can block the National Highway NH-12. Humayun also said that to silence him he could be murdered. He said that if he was stopped, he would sit on a dharna and even arrest him. He has full faith in the judiciary.

After the decision of Calcutta High Court, now all eyes are on the administration. There is a situation of tension in the state since Humayun’s announcement. Due to the court not interfering in the matter, Humayun has now got full opportunity to carry forward his program. Now the present government will have to decide how it will handle the possible demonstration and tense situation on 6th December. Now it remains to be seen whether Mamata government will use force to maintain the justice system or will bring a political solution.
