Gujarat Titans’ star spinner Sai Kishore created a stir with his stormy performance with the bat in the 93rd match of the league stage of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26 on Thursday (4 December). This time in the match played against Tripura at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad, Sai Kishore showed his true colors not with the ball but with the bat.

When Tamil Nadu team was in trouble after losing 4 wickets for 26 runs, then Sai Kishore came to bat at number-6. After standing firm in the beginning, he changed gears and hit three fours and 8 sixes. The 29-year-old spinner took the complete swing of the match by playing an explosive inning of 87 unbeaten runs in just 39 balls.

During this, he made an explosive partnership of 119 runs with captain Narayan Jagadishan (83 runs). The special thing was that Kishore completely took the match away from the opposition team by hitting Tripura bowler Indrajit Devnath for three consecutive sixes in the last over of the innings.

Thanks to his innings, Tamil Nadu scored a strong score of 204/5 in the stipulated 20 overs. Whereas, in reply, Tripura team was bundled out for just 143 runs and Tamil Nadu won the match by 61 runs.

Sai Kishore, who took 19 wickets in 15 matches in IPL 2025, was recently retained by Gujarat Titans ahead of the IPL 2026 auction and now this innings has further strengthened that decision. Team management, fans and the players themselves will also be very happy with this excellent performance.
