Chhattisgarh News: On the special initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, continuous efforts are being made to promote tourism in the state of Chhattisgarh. People from all over the country and the world come to Chhattisgarh to see the natural beauty of Chhattisgarh and its tourist places. Due to this, exhibitions and workshops are also being organized in different parts of the country, especially in the metropolitan cities, to give information about the tourist places of Chhattisgarh. The aim of all these efforts is to bring tourism to Chhattisgarh on the global map.

On the initiative of Chief Minister Sai, tourism has been given the status of industry in Chhattisgarh and for this, many concessions have also been provisioned in the new industrial policy. Home-stay policy has been made so that tourism can be promoted in Chhattisgarh, Bastar and Surguja region. Taking these efforts forward, the Government of Chhattisgarh has started an innovative initiative of tourist guide training to provide employment opportunities in the field of tourism to the youth of the state, especially the youth of Bastar region. As per the wish of the Chief Minister, a team of 45 youth was sent to the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) Gwalior in collaboration with Chhattisgarh Tourism Board for training as tourist guides. This group of youth has returned to Chhattisgarh after receiving one month’s special training from there. These youth will be deployed as guides in tourist places of Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Tourism Minister Rajesh Aggarwal have congratulated and congratulated the youth who have successfully received training as tourist guides. The Chief Minister has said that the natural beauty of the state, its lush green valleys and picturesque tourist places are capable of making Chhattisgarh a tourism hub. Chhattisgarh has immense potential in the field of tourism, this will open new doors of employment and business. He appealed to the trained youth to specifically tell the tourists about the tourist places and facilities of Chhattisgarh, so that the number of tourists increases. This will boost employment in the tourism sector in the state.

It is noteworthy here that this special program of tourist guide training was organized by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board after a gap of 7 years. In which most of the youth are residents of Bastar division. During the training, the youth were given practical training in tourist guidance, communication skills, cultural heritage, tourism management and field, so that they could effectively present the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh. Trained youth will play an important role in taking the tourism industry of the state to greater heights by better promoting the cultural and natural tourist destinations of Chhattisgarh.
