BJP MLA Controversial Statement: Amid the ongoing controversy over Congress MP Renuka Chaudhary taking a dog to Parliament, a video of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Pramod Kumar in Bihar has gone viral. In this video, he is seen making controversial comments about women. BJP MLA from Motihari Pramod Kumar said that many women sleep with dogs for self-satisfaction. Later he clarified that his intention was not to insult women, rather he just wanted to show how western culture was impacting Indian civilization.
This video made while talking to a YouTuber outside the House during the Bihar Assembly session went viral recently. In the video, six-time MLA and former minister Pramod Kumar is seen reacting to Congress MP Renuka Chaudhary bringing a dog to Parliament. He said, many people have the habit of sleeping with dogs; This can be seen on mobile also. Many women sleep with dogs, and if the dog is their center of attention then they would have taken it with them.
RJD said attack
National spokesperson of RJD, the main opposition party in Bihar, Priyanka Bharti shared this video on social media and targeted BJP. Priyanka alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi gets satisfaction when his leaders make indecent comments on women.

BJP MLA’s clarification
BJP MLA Pramod Kumar, who came into limelight after the video went viral, clarified his statement while talking to the media before entering the assembly complex in Patna on Saturday. Pramod said that his statement has been distorted. In the context of Western civilization, he had said that Western culture should not dominate Indian traditions.

The MLA said that he has not disrespected any woman. He had no intention of insulting anyone. He also said that Parliament is the temple of democracy and it is inappropriate to take a dog there. Excessive influence of western culture should not be considered okay.
