Forest Viet promotes Vietnam tourism in China

The event was part of a series of activities aimed at promoting Vietnamese tourism in the Chinese market. It took place on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, as well as the Vietnam-China Cultural Exchange Year 2025.

The program gathered representatives from airlines, travel companies, event organizers, and tourism partners from both countries. Its purpose was to boost connections and expand cooperation against the backdrop of a continued strong increase in the number of Chinese tourists visiting Vietnam.

According to VNAT, in the first 10 months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed about 17.2 million international visitors, of which more than 4.3 million were from China, over 25% of the total, making China the largest source market.

Vietnam currently offers a diverse tourism resource system with nine UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites, numerous coastal, island, and mountain destinations, and large-scale resort complexes. Coupled with a 90-day e-visa policy and a network of direct flights connecting major Chinese cities with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and others, the Chinese tourism market is considered to have significant growth potential for Vietnamese tour companies, including Forest Viet.

At the event, Forest Viet participated in networking activities, introducing Vietnamese tourism products to Chinese partners. The company also engaged with numerous travel agencies to discuss cooperation plans and survey market demand. With a focus on Chinese-speaking markets such as mainland China and Taiwan, Forest Viet is known for its services in organizing full-package inbound tours and international trade-promotion events.

Pham Thi Bich Hong, Executive Director of Forest Viet, noted that Chinese tourists’ preferences are clearly shifting from traditional sightseeing tours to high-end resort products, sea-island tourism, golf, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and experiential itineraries centered around local cuisine and culture.

“Participating directly in promotional activities in China allows us to more closely capture actual market demand, thereby adjusting our products to specialize for each customer group,” she said.
