Actually, Aryan was with Kannada actor Zaid Khan (son of Karnataka Minister B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan) and actress Dhanya Ramkumar for the promotion of his clothing brand ‘D’yavol’. All three came to the balcony of the restaurant to say hello to the media and fans gathered outside. During this time, Aryan, probably out of fun or excitement, showed the middle finger, then immediately smiled and waved his hand and said goodbye to everyone. Just this clip went viral and people started abusing him.

Now according to The Hindu, Bengaluru Police has started investigating the viral video of Aryan Khan, in which he is seen showing the middle finger from the balcony of the pub. The police have not yet registered an FIR, but have started a preliminary inquiry under Section 173 of the Indian Civil Defense Code. Meaning, first we will check the entire video, understand the correct reference, talk to the witnesses, then decide whether a case is made out or not and which sections should be imposed. Police officer Mr. Machhindra told The Hindu, ‘We will first watch the footage thoroughly and understand the complete background of the incident. We will decide further only after everything is clear.

What was the reaction of the fans?

This whole incident happened in the last week of November. When Aryan found it difficult to show the middle finger even just as a joke. People on the internet are divided into two groups. A group is saying, ‘This was just children’s fun, what is the need to create so much ruckus?’ Many people on the X handle called it an irresponsible and arrogant act. One user wrote, ‘Aryan Khan showing the middle finger means the rich showing the middle finger to the common people. This is the rule in India, not the exception. But Aryan’s fans did not care whether he was behaving like Jordan from the movie Rockstar or just joking.
