How to make Potato Chips

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into very thin slices. Using a slicer makes the chips very thin.
  • Soak cut potato slices in cold ice water for 10–15 minutes. This removes excess starch and makes the chips crispier.
  • Take out the slices from water, spread them on a clean cloth and dry them thoroughly.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add potato slices on medium flame.
