The fight against pollution in Delhi is going on on mission mode – CM Rekha Gupta

New Delhi. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta assured residents that the government is taking action on all fronts to tackle pollution in the national capital. He also reiterated that the fight against pollution in Delhi continues in mission mode. Speaking to reporters, Gupta said that work is underway to mist the electric poles to help reduce pollution.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that smoke, dust, vehicle exhaust, open burning of garbage and burning of wood, all these factors together create a layer of pollution in the air (mission mode). Delhi Government is working on every element contributing to pollution. CM Gupta said that hundreds of sprinklers are being used to wash the city’s ring road. He said that this road cleaning is being done at regular intervals, which is playing an important role in reducing dust and pollution. For the first time in Delhi, hundreds of sprinkler vehicles are washing the ring road of the capital. Our mission is only pollution control. Our government is fully alert and committed at every level to fight a decisive war against pollution. Through these sprinkler vehicles on the Ring Road, road washing is being done at regular intervals, which is helping in reducing dust and pollution. This initiative is an effective step towards improving the air quality and also reflects the strong resolve of the government to provide a clean environment to the citizens.
