New Delhi. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah rejected the claims made by Congress and other parties regarding EVM hacking. Omar Abdullah said that I do not believe that EVMs can be tampered with, although my father believes so. Omar said, although the elections can definitely be influenced. Along with this, he praised BJP’s working style and its commitment from club elections to Presidential elections. Omar said that the opposition’s India Bloc is currently on ‘life support’.

Speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, Omar Abdullah said, BJP gives its full strength in every election. Its leaders fight every election with such zeal and enthusiasm as if their lives depend on it. Whereas many times we take elections lightly. As soon as one election is held, BJP starts preparing for the next election. Like after the Bihar assembly elections, now BJP has started election preparations in the state where assembly elections are going to be held.

Omar said that while the leaders of India Alliance go to that state two months before the elections, this is not the case with BJP. Many times, India Alliance announces alliance with other parties on the last date of nomination. When he was asked who is the leader in the opposition who is as dedicated as the BJP, Omar laughed and said, I cannot take anyone’s name. Omar Abdullah even said that it was the India alliance that pushed Nitish Kumar towards NDA. However, Omar said that to compete with BJP at the national level, we will have to take Congress along.
