Lupin Season 4: Release details, cast news and plot details – Everything we know so far

Paris never sleeps, and neither does Assane Diop. After that insane cliffhanger in October 2023, fans have been losing their minds waiting for the next chapter of Netflix’s slickest heist show. Good news: the wait is almost over. Cameras rolled, filming finished, and Season 4 is locked and loaded for 2026. Here’s everything that’s out there right now – no fluff, just the facts people are actually talking about.

Lupin Season 4 Release Details

Netflix green-lit Season 4 in May 2025 and started shooting the same month in Paris. Wrap party photos hit social media in late September 2025, so everything is in the can. Eight episodes are done and dusted.

Most reliable sources (French trade papers, Netflix France press releases, and the cast themselves) point to a spring or summer 2026 drop. A couple of random blogs threw out “end of 2025,” but that’s not happening – post-production on a show this polished takes time. Bet on May–July 2026 and you’ll probably be spot-on.

Lupin Season 4 Expected Cast

Omar Sy is obviously back as Assane – the man literally posted wrap photos in character with the caption “See you soon.” The main squad returns too:

  • Ludivine Sagnier as Claire
  • Soufiane Guerrab as Guédira (the cop who’s basically a fanboy now)
  • Antoine Gouy as Benjamin
  • Shirine Boutella as Sofia/Raïs
  • Hervé Pierre as the slimy Hubert Pellegrini (yes, he’s still around causing chaos)

New names popping up on the call sheets: Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard in big mystery roles. Set leaks show both of them in heavy scenes with Omar, so expect them to shake things up.

Lupin Season 4 Potential Plot

Season 3 ended with Assane in prison, reading Arsène Lupin books, smiling like he’s already three steps ahead. Season 4 starts right there.

Early plot leaks and comments from the writers say this run is darker and more personal. Assane has to protect Raoul and Claire while a new enemy (someone connected to his past) comes after everything he loves. Expect at least one prison-break sequence, a couple of disguises that’ll break the internet, and probably the biggest score he’s ever attempted.

Omar Sy told a French radio station last month: “This season hurts. It’s beautiful, but it hurts.” That’s literally all anyone needs to hear to know the stakes are through the roof.
