Nikita was married to Vikram Nagdev on 26 January 2020 in Pakistan as per Hindu rituals. Exactly a month after the marriage, on 26 February 2020, Vikram brought her to India. But citing technical problem in the visa, he was sent back to Karachi from Attari border on 9 July 2020. Since then Vikram never tried to bring her back to India. Nikita kept requesting him repeatedly to call him to India, but to no avail.

Nikita Nagdev made an emotional appeal in the video released from Karachi. She said that if justice is not done to me today, married women will lose faith in justice. Many girls like me face physical abuse in their in-laws. I am requesting everyone to stand with me for my justice.

Nikita told that after a month of marriage, when she reached her in-laws’ house in India from Pakistan, within a few days the behavior of her in-laws changed. Soon she came to know that her husband Vikram was having an affair with one of her relatives. When Nikita told this to her father-in-law, he said that son, boys always have affairs, they cannot do anything.

Forcedly sent to Pakistan, now not even giving permit

According to Nikita, no one helped her in her in-laws’ house. She was not even in a position to ask for help from anyone in India. During the Corona period, her husband forcefully sent her to Pakistan for a month and now he is not even giving her permission to return. Nikita says that every woman gets justice in India. His father spoke to the father of Vikram’s girlfriend Shivangi Dhingra. He said that here girls have affairs, how to stop them. Then Nikita herself told Shivangi that you are single, you can get married anywhere. But Shivangi replied that she did not know Vikram. Still, after several requests, Vikram and Shivangi got engaged.
