Revolution in Delhi-Patna travel! Sleeper Vande Bharat with 16 coaches will run from this month, will travel at a speed of 160 kmph and faster

The dream of passengers who want to travel in Vande Bharat sleeper train is going to be fulfilled this month. The country’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train will run between the national capital Delhi and Patna. It is expected that this train will start serving passengers by the end of December. Passengers were waiting for this for the last several years. Now Vande Bharat train will give a better experience not only in speed but also in terms of comfort.

The finishing work of two state-of-the-art rakes of Vande Bharat Express sleeper train is being done at a rapid pace at the Bharat Earthmovers Limited (BEML) factory in Bengaluru. There will be 16 coaches in each rake. Finishing of one of these rakes has been completed, which will be sent from Bengaluru for Northern Railway on 12th December. After this, trial run of this rake will be done between Delhi and Patna.

There will be 827 berths in sleeper train

There will be a total of 16 coaches in the Vande Bharat Sleeper train, which will include 11 AC third tier coaches, 4 AC second tier coaches and 1 AC first class coach. There will be a total of 827 berths in all categories in the train. According to a railway official, preparations are on to start operations of Vande Bharat sleeper train by the end of this month. Like the currently running Vande Bharat Express trains, this sleeper train will also run six days a week.

The train will be equipped with modern facilities

This train will leave from Patna to New Delhi in the evening and reach Delhi the next morning. In return also, it will be operated from Delhi as per the same timetable. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, many modern facilities have been provided in this train. These include automatic doors, bio-toilets, CCTV cameras, reading lights and comfortable interiors. The maximum speed of the train will be up to 160 kilometers per hour.

The train has been designed accordingly. In terms of safety, facilities like armor system and crash-proof technology have also been provided in it, so that there is no possibility of accident.
