Raipur : As per the instructions of Balodabazar Bhatapara Collector Deepak Soni, a joint team of Revenue Department, Food Department and Mandi is keeping a strict vigil on the coached out middlemen. On Saturday, 1055 quintals of illegal paddy worth Rs 24.99 lakh was seized from the middleman in Revenue Section Bhatapara and Palari.
According to the information received, the joint team of Revenue, Food and Mandi under the leadership of SDM Shyama Patel in Section Bhatapara, seized 28 quintals of illegal paddy worth Rs 66332 from Bhabya Traders Surajpura. 16.40 quintals of illegal paddy worth Rs 38851 from Makhan Giri Goswami of Khaira and Rs 23,74,183 from Riddhi Siddhi Agro Industries. 1000 quintals of illegal paddy was seized and the warehouse was sealed. 11.2 quintals of illegal paddy worth Rs 25760 was seized from the shop of Jaleshwar Sahu of village Jarve in Palari subdivision and handed over to Balakdas of Jarve.
