Germany did wonders in the semi-finals

Team India had made it to the semi-finals by defeating Belgium in the quarter-finals. Team India fell behind in the match against Germany right from the first half. Let us tell you that this tournament was last won by the Indian junior team in the year 2016. At that time the final match was played in Lucknow. Lucas Kosel scored 2 goals for Germany. Supporting them, Titus Weks, Jonas van Gersem and Ben Hasbach scored 1 goal each. Due to which Germany was successful in scoring 5 goals. After falling behind in the first quarter, Team India tried hard to make a comeback in the second quarter, but could not get any success. By half time Germany was ahead 3-0.

India lost despite playing well in the second half

India made a brilliant start to the third quarter due to which Germany appeared to be under pressure, but in the 40th minute, Germany took the match further away from India’s grip by scoring one more goal. The hard work of Indian players went in vain. Anmol Ekka scored a goal for Team India in the fourth quarter, but Germany also scored one more goal. Due to which India kept chasing. The final match will now be played between Spain and Germany on 10 December. On the same day, India will play against Argentina for third place.
