Pm Modi Vande Mataram 150 Years Parliament Speech

On Monday (December 8), the eighth day of the winter session of Parliament, Prime Minister Modi spoke at the beginning of the discussion organized in Parliament to commemorate the completion of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’. A special discussion is going on in the Parliament to commemorate the completion of 150 years of this song which played an important role in the country’s freedom struggle. During this, PM Modi has reminded that when 50 years of Vande Mataram song were completed, the country was forced to live in slavery and when 100 years were completed, the country was caught in the chains of Emergency.

Meanwhile, while speaking in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the discussion on Vande Mataram as a moment of pride. He said, “We have chosen the path of a collective discussion on this important occasion. It is our good fortune to remember Vande Mataram, the mantra and slogan which gave energy and inspiration to the country’s freedom movement and showed the path of sacrifice and penance. It is a matter of pride for us that we are witnessing this moment.”

He said, “A period which brings before us innumerable events of history. This discussion will not only reveal the commitment of the House, but it can also become a cause of education for the coming generations if we make good use of it. Today we are experiencing the collective energy of 150 years of Vande Mataram.”

Recalling the journey of 150 years of Vande Mataram, PM Modi said, “This journey has passed through many stages, but when Vande Mataram completed 50 years, the country was strong enough to live in slavery. When 100 years were completed, the country was in the chains of Emergency. The Constitution of India was strangled. People who lived and died for patriotism were put in jail. Unfortunately. A dark period has come to light in our history. 150 years is an opportunity to re-establish that great chapter and glory. I believe that this opportunity should not be let go. This is Vande Mataram, which brought independence to the country in 1947.
