Winter Animal Care: Feed this thing to cows and buffaloes in winter, it will give bucketful of milk

Winter Animal Care: As winter progresses, animals, like humans, also suffer the effects of changes in temperature. In cold weather, the digestion of cows and buffaloes often becomes weak, due to which milk production reduces and cattle owners become worried. However, according to experts, by adopting some simple home remedies, abundant milk can be obtained from animals even in winter.

Digestion becomes slow due to cold, hence feeding animals by mixing 50 grams of rock salt in their fodder daily is very beneficial. Rock salt activates digestion and fulfills the deficiency of minerals in the body. According to doctors, animals which normally give 3–4 liters of milk, start giving 6–7 liters of milk with this remedy.

Along with rock salt, it is also necessary to give about 250 grams of jaggery to the animals every day. Jaggery increases body heat and maintains energy levels, keeping animals healthy even in cold weather. Apart from this, lighting a bonfire near the animals at night or covering them with gunny sack is also beneficial. Due to this, body temperature remains balanced and digestion does not get disturbed, which has a direct impact on the quantity of milk.

In winter, special care should be taken for cleanliness in the areas where animals live. Dirt, moisture and stagnant water increase the risk of infection, causing animals to fall ill quickly and milk production to reduce. While giving fodder, keep in mind that there should not be any kind of insect or spoiled substance in it, because spoiled fodder spreads diseases more rapidly in winter.

If cattle owners include these easy measures and home remedies in their daily routine, then their animals will produce plenty of milk even in winter and their health will also remain strong.
