It can be seen in the viral video that Kanika Kapoor was singing on the stage, when a young man came running and tried to catch her. Kanika did not appear enraged by the sudden attack, but stepped back and controlled herself. Within a few moments, security personnel reached the spot and took the accused down from the stage. At present there has been no confirmation of legal action against this person.

A few days ago, Kanika Kapoor had made a shocking revelation about the income of playback singers in Bollywood. In a conversation with Urfi Javed, he said that he was given only Rs 101 for his initial projects.

Kanika said that even big singers in India do not get royalty or proper payment for their hit songs. She said, “As long as your voice works, you earn. But if your health or voice gets affected, there is no security or pension like system for the artists.”
