Desk: Vodafone Idea has given a shock to prepaid users and discontinued Vi Guarantee Extra Data program. Under this offer, the benefit of free data was given by the company, this program was launched as a limited-period offer in May 2024 and under this program, free high-speed data was given to all 5G and new 4G smartphone users. But now you will not get the benefit of free extra data, let us know how much data was given under this offer?
According to Telecom Talk, under the Vi Guarantee program, users were given 130GB guaranteed extra data in a year and 10GB data was automatically credited to the account every 28 days for 13 consecutive cycles. This offer could be availed through Vi app. This means that now you will not be given 130 GB extra data from the company.
At the time of launch, this benefit was given to users purchasing daily data unlimited plan priced at Rs 239 or more. This offer was valid for Vi subscribers with 5G smartphones and those who had recently upgraded to a new 4G smartphone. At the time of launch, Vi had announced that the benefit of Vi Guarantee offer is currently available for all 5G and new 4G smartphone users across India except Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, North East and Orissa.
