Condition between BJP and NCP candidates – Read
Everyone is waiting for the results of local body elections in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, a fight for honor is going on between BJP and NCP (Sharad Pawar) candidates in Akluj city of Solapur.
Here two friends are local workers of different parties, who are supporting one candidate each of BJP and NCP(SP). The condition is that whichever party wins, it will gift a ‘Royal Enfield’ bike to the other party.
Royal Enfield’s condition among BJP-NCP candidates
While Machindra Karnavar is supporting NCP(SP) candidate Reshma Adagale, Dada Tarange is betting on BJP’s Pooja Kothmayer. In one of the videos, the two friends can be heard having a friendly joke and looking equally confident about winning the bike.
In the clip, one of them said, ‘There will be a Bullet motorcycle here on December 21. Whoever wins the municipal council head seat will give the bike to the other one. During the Lok Sabha elections last year, a similar condition was imposed between BJP and NCP (SP) workers in the city.
Election results declared on 21 December
Let us tell you that the results of the local body elections will be declared on December 21. Voting took place on 2 December. The Bombay High Court had directed the Maharashtra State Election Commission (SEC) to extend the counting of votes for all local body elections beyond the previously scheduled date of December 3.
After the BJP-led Mahayuti won 235 out of 288 seats in the November 2024 assembly elections, these elections are being seen as a big indicator of political sentiment in the state.
