Goa Nightclub Fire: Nightclub owner responsible for 25 deaths flees India, seeks refuge in ‘this’ country

One in Goa In a nightclub Twenty-five people have died in the fierce fire. Four employees, including the club’s general manager, have been arrested so far. The police have also named the nightclub owners, the Luthra brothers, as accused, but they have managed to flee the country.
According to Goa Police sources, club owners Gaurav Luthra and Saurabh Luthra fled Mumbai to Thailand on the same day the fire broke out. They boarded IndiGo flight 6E 1073 and flew to Phuket. “The Goa Police has taken steps to coordinate with the Interpol Division of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to arrest Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra at the earliest,” said a senior police officer.
25 killed in nightclub fire
Held in a night club about 25 km from Panaji in a raging fire 25 people have died and importantly the dead include 20 nightclub workers and 5 tourists who were present, four of whom were from Delhi. The five injured are undergoing treatment at the Government Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Lookout circular issued on 7th December
After registering an FIR against the accused, the Bureau of Intelligence (BOI) issued a lookout circular against them till December 7 on the request of the Goa Police. The official said that the Mumbai-based Immigration Bureau was contacted and it was found that the two accused had boarded Phuket-bound flight 6E 1073 at 5:30 am on December 7, soon after the fire incident.

Major action in Goa Nightclub Fire case, 3 senior officials suspended for taking role in allowing restaurants
Goa Police immediately sent a team to Delhi to raid the house of accused Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra. “As they were not available, a notice was pasted on the gate of their house under appropriate sections of the Act. This shows their intention to evade investigation,” the police said.
The Goa Police has taken the club’s employee Bharat Kohli into transit remand and is bringing him to Goa. He said that all the 25 deceased have been postmortemed and the bodies have been handed over to their families. Meanwhile, a previous video of this incident is also going viral. It appears that the incident took place when the glass of the roof suddenly broke while a woman was dancing.
