RCB matches will be held in Chinnaswamy Stadium

After the tragic incident that took place during the celebration of RCB’s trophy win, some people had raised the question whether big matches would be moved out of the city. On this, Shivkumar said that it is a matter of respect for Bengaluru and Karnataka and next year all the IPL matches will be held here. When asked about the matches of the Women’s T20 World Cup, she said that whatever matches will be held, they will be held here.

Shivakumar himself is an old member of KSCA. He told that he has been watching cricket since childhood. Nagraj ji had given him membership and his sons studied with him. He also knows Brijesh Patel, Anil Kumble and Prasanna. He said that the accident that had happened will not happen again. The dignity of the stadium will be maintained and the crowd will be managed within the ambit of law. Besides, a new big stadium will also be built.

It is noteworthy that earlier there were reports that RCB matches could be held in Pune. However, there is no official confirmation yet whether the matches will be held in Bengaluru or Pune.
