Chandigarh, 8 December. Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Bading has suspended Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu from the primary membership of the party. Navjot Kaur had said on Saturday (December 6) that her family does not have money to give to any party.

Navjot Kaur had said that if Congress makes Navjot Singh Sidhu the chief ministerial face, then he can come back to active politics. Navjot Kaur Sidhu had also claimed that only the one who gives a ‘suitcase’ worth Rs 500 crore becomes the ‘Chief Minister’.

While talking to the media in Chandigarh on Saturday (December 6), Navjot Kaur had said, ‘Navjot Singh Sidhu will return to active politics only when Congress declares him the chief ministerial face of the party in Punjab. He has no money to give to any party, but he can make Punjab a ‘golden state’. But we do not have Rs 500 crore which we can give to sit on the Chief Minister’s chair. The one who gives a suitcase worth Rs 500 crore becomes the Chief Minister.
BJP and AAP surrounded Congress
At present, the politics of the state has heated up after the statement of Navjot Kaur Sidhu. Along with Aam Aadmi Party, BJP also cornered Congress. Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said sarcastically – Navjot Kaur’s statement clearly shows that Congress is the most corrupt party in the country. In a party where one has to reportedly pay Rs 500 crore just to become a candidate, let alone win, then one can understand what would be the condition of that party.
At the same time, BJP IT Cell chief Amit Malviya also alleged that such cases have come to light in many states, where many Congress leaders have expressed concern about the internal corruption of the party and the power of money. Accountability and transparency are extremely important in any democracy.
