Winter session of UP Legislature from 19th, Yogi government can present supplementary budget

Lucknow. The winter session of the UP Legislature will start from December 19, which will continue till December 24. The state government will complete many legislative tasks during the five-day session. The proposal related to this was approved through cabinet by circulation on Tuesday. During this time, the government can also present the first supplementary budget of the current financial year.

It is being speculated that there may be a lot of uproar during the session regarding the Voter Intensive Verification Campaign (SIR) being conducted by the Election Commission. Let us tell you that opposition parties have been attacking BJP regarding the SIR process.

Its notification will be issued after the approval of the Governor. If holidays are excluded, it is expected to be four working days. The government may present the supplementary budget on December 22. Apart from this, more than 10 bills will also be placed on the table of the House.
