Camera kit worth Rs 5 lakh stolen from solo traveler in Agra, police did not even register FIR; video viral
Camera Kit Stolen Viral Video: These days, an emotional video is going viral on social media, in which a solo traveler and content creator Tanmay Deshmukh is crying and narrating his ordeal. He told that he had come to visit Agra and he had a camera kit worth about Rs 5 lakh, which included essential equipment like camera, lens, drone, SSD and battery.
In the video, Tanmay tells that in Agra he met a young man who was claiming himself to be from Mumbai. He befriended them, talked to them and even revealed his entire background. But one day he made an excuse of going to the gym and sent Tanmay to another hostel and entered his room. When Tanmay returned, his entire bag was empty and his valuable equipment had been stolen.

Even the police did not help
According to Tanmay, when he did not get any response from the person for a long time, he returned to his room and was shocked to find the items missing. After this he immediately called the police. Police reached the spot, but did not register Tanmay’s FIR, only took a complaint letter and asked to call him to the police station the next day.
Tanmay says that till now he has not received any concrete help from the police. After this he shared the photo and ID of that thief on social media and appealed to the people for help. Tanmay told that along with the stolen equipment, he also lost the entire data, memories and projects of the last 5 years, due to which his emotional breakdown is natural.

People said- it is dangerous to trust an unknown person
This video of Tanmay is becoming very viral on the internet, which has received around 25 lakh (2.5 million) views and more than 1.5 lakh likes so far. Thousands of users are giving him courage by commenting and demanding action from Agra Police. Many users wrote that trusting an unknown person during travel can be dangerous.
Some people said- “Brother, you will get it, don’t worry.” Tanmay’s voice is now spreading rapidly on social media, and it is possible that due to online support he may get his stolen goods back. This case reminds that for a traveller, his gadgets are not just things, but his hard work and memories.
