Phu Quoc, voted the most beautiful in Asia by readers of American magazine Condé Nast Traveler, was the Vietnamese destination most sought-after by international travelers for the winter holiday, with a 47% increase in searches, according to online platform Agoda.

Da Nang came in second, followed by Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City, based on searches made between September and November on Agoda for stays during December 2025 and January 2026.

Agoda said Phu Quoc is favored for its sandy beaches, calm waters, and nature parks ideal for multi-generation vacations.

Phu Quoc welcomed nearly 7.6 million tourists including 1.6 million foreign arrivals in the first 11 months of this year, up 35% year-on-year and surpassing this year’s target.

The island has become a bright spot of Vietnam’s tourism this year, attracting a series of Asian celebrities, including actress and model Jumbo Tsang and singer-actress Gillian Chung.
