Shameful act of MP Police, police took away 18 year old youth from the bus, then sent him to jail in a false drug case, this is how the truth was revealed in the High Court

Madhya Pradesh A shocking incident that took place in Malhargarh has raised questions on the image of the police of the entire state. Sohan, an 18-year-old student, was allegedly caught with 2.7 kg of opium, on the basis of which he was sent to jail. But now the truth revealed in the High Court has exposed this fake case.

The police had implicated the boy in a fake case. The surprising thing is that this station had come ninth in the top ten police stations of the country last month, but now the shocking evidence revealed in the High Court has tarnished its image.

Police forcibly implicated him in a fake case

Sohan, an 18-year-old Class 12 student, was forcibly removed from a moving bus by the Malhargarh police on August 29. A few hours later, the police claimed to have found 2.7 kg of opium in Sohan’s possession and the next day produced him in court and sent him to jail. But CCTV footage, mobile videos and accounts of witnesses told a completely different story. No drugs, no chase, only some policemen were seen stopping the bus and pulling the student and taking him away. The question arises whether such a deadly action was taken without any legal basis? Did the responsible authorities deliberately jeopardize the future of an innocent student?

The family approached the High Court

Sohan’s family approached the Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court against this illegal arrest and false allegations. The family claimed that the student was forcibly abducted and was implicated without any evidence. During the hearing, Mandsaur Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar Meena had to admit his mistake in the court. He admitted that Sohan was wrongly picked up by the policemen. There was a huge difference in the time and place mentioned in the initial report and the video.

Policemen suspended and investigation

Vinod Kumar Meena has suspended six policemen, including the officer who pulled the student from the bus. A departmental inquiry has also been ordered. The High Court has now reserved its order and legal experts are expecting strict action.

Can we trust the police, who themselves flout the law? Will such fake cases be brought to justice? And will this gap between poverty and innocence be closed? This whole matter has emerged as a big embarrassment for the Madhya Pradesh police system, which once made it to the list of top police stations, but is now surrounded by serious questions.
