Dominance of ‘Dhurandhar’ resonates at the box office

Actor Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited espionage action-thriller ‘Dhurandhar’ has been a big hit at the box office. This film, released on December 5, has set new earning records in just five days. The audience is appreciating the film’s brilliant direction, strong screenplay and Ranveer’s powerful performance. There is a huge craze for ‘Dhurandhar’ even on weekdays, due to which its earnings are continuously increasing. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon’s ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ has started looking a bit sluggish in the business days.

Big earning of ‘Dhurandhar’ on 5th day
According to preliminary data from Sacknilk, ‘Dhurandhar’ made a huge collection of Rs 26.50 crore on the fifth day of its release i.e. Tuesday. This is more than Monday’s collection (Rs 23.25 crore). Till now the total box office collection of the film in India has reached Rs 152.75 crore. Not only in the country but also in the foreign countries, the earning storm of ‘Dhurandhar’ continues and in five days the film has made a global collection of around Rs 225 crores. It is directed and written by Aditya Dhar.

Slow pace of ‘Tere Ishq Mein’
On the other hand, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ has completed 12 days. According to reports, in the second week the film earned Rs 2.4 crore on the 11th day and Rs 2.85 crore on the 12th day. Directed by Aanand L Rai, this romantic drama film has collected a total of Rs 105.25 crore in India and Rs 145.38 crore worldwide. In comparison to both the films, while ‘Dhurandhar’ seems to be moving ahead at a faster pace, ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ is continuing to earn at a steady but slow pace.
