The fire control room received information about the incident at 7:14 am and vehicles from Dumbhal, Maan Darwaza and Dindoli fire stations were immediately dispatched to the spot. But seeing smoke spreading rapidly from the market’s electrical ducts throughout the complex, the fire brigade was immediately called. Subsequently, Surat Fire Brigade dispatched teams and vehicles from a total of 22 fire stations to the spot.
