Bomb threat in many schools of Delhi, children sent home immediately and agencies engaged in investigation

Once again there was panic in Delhi due to bomb threat to schools. Threats were sent to many schools via email on Wednesday morning, immediately after which the children were sent home safely. Police and fire brigade teams reached the spot and thoroughly inspected the schools.

Threat through email, created panic in schools

Schools in many areas of Delhi including Laxmi Nagar, Mayur Vihar, Rohini received bomb threats this morning. As soon as the school administration received the email, children were immediately taken out of the classes and the school was evacuated.
Police and fire brigade teams reached the spot within a few minutes and started investigating the entire campus.

No suspicious items were found in police investigation

The police conducted a complete search of the classroom, corridor, ground, parking and surrounding areas. No suspicious object was found in the initial investigation.
Officials say that at present the situation is completely under control and there is no need to panic. The children were sent home only as a precaution.

Security agencies started thorough investigation

This is not the first time that Delhi schools have received such threats. For this reason, security agencies are taking this matter very seriously.
The person or group sending the threat is being identified. Cyber ​​cell has also started ascertaining the location and source of the email.
Recently, 15 people were killed in the blast near the Red Fort, after which the security is already on high alert.

School message sent to parents, children dismissed

As soon as the threat was received, the schools sent a message to the parents asking them to take their children home immediately.
Indian School sent a message,
This morning we received a bomb threat via email. Keeping in mind the safety of the children, they are being sent home at different times.

Similarly, Ahlcon International School also decided to dismiss all the children at 11:30. All the children who traveled by bus, van or walk were sent home early.

DU colleges also received threats, security and strictness

Last week, Deshbandhu College and Ramjas College of Delhi University had also received such threats. Even then bomb squad and dog squad were deployed and nothing suspicious was found in the investigation.
After receiving these continuous threats, police and intelligence agencies are on high alert mode.
